  Sideloading .APK’s on Android: a simple guide. Hi, in this guide I’ll be walking you through installing any app on android that isn’t on the play store.  First, get your .APK file. Many sources provide these but some of them may be unsafe so do this at YOUR OWN RISK. Next, you’ll quickly realise you can’t use this file as when you open it, you get faced with an error: To fix this, press on the settings button on this error message which will redirect you to this page: From here, toggle on “Allow from this source”. This is again a prevention system set up by google to avoid hackers getting your data which can happen with dangerous unmoderated apps. The file will then ask you if you want to install the application. If that is the case, click yes and wait for the installation to complete. Congratulations, the app is installed. Installing Linux: a beginners guide. So, you want to try Linux, maybe you’re sick of windows, or you want to try something new. No matter the context, this is an overly simplified guide on how to install Linux. You will need:  A computer running windows/macOS (could be the one you want to install Linux on) A usb thumb drive (<5gb)   First: choose your distro which is the version of Linux. Linux comes in many different flavours but, for this tutorial, I willbe showing you how to install Linux Mint, a great option for beginners. First, go to their website at  https://www.linuxmint.com/ . From there, download the operating system file which should be a .iso file. Next, while that is downloading, install a program to flash the .iso file to your usb.
